What is Health Challenge Denbighshire?

Health Challenge Wales is a challenge for the nation. It provides a new and inclusive national focus to secure greater ownership, commitment and action for ‘better health’ as part of a co-ordinated and sustained effort to improve levels of health in Wales and to achieve the national targets that have been set for 2012.

Health Challenge Denbighshire is our local response.

It is a challenge to:

	You as the individual to do what you can to improve your own health and the health of your family
	Local businesses to promote and improve the health of their employees and customers

What will be the benefits?

Health Challenge Denbighshire will, amongst other things:

	Provide a Denbighshire focus and a higher profile for ‘better health’
	Build further the current momentum for, and public interest in, better health
	Help to encourage people to take greater responsibility for health
